Support Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All—And That’s the Magic!

As we've been working on building our Power Profiles series, we've come across something fabulous created by Jordan Arogeti that got us thinking about what we're building at FemFoundry and HOW we aspire for this community to support one another, recognizing that we want women entrepreneurs supporting women entrepreneurs to be diverse, unique to the individual and done with intentionality.

Every one of us shows up to support others differently, and that's beautiful. Jordan Arogeti, CEO of SupportNow's concept of Support Languages, reminds us that meaningful support isn't about grand gestures; it's about showing up in a way that aligns with who we are and how others need us to be.

At FemFoundry, support is more than a buzzword; it's our foundation. We're building a community where female entrepreneurs are seen, heard, and uplifted. That means:

• Honoring diverse strengths: Some of us lend an ear, others share insights, and others take action. Each style matters.
  

• Building bonds with purpose: Like Jordan's casseroles and cash story, we encourage practical help, like mentorship, introductions, and encouragement, tailored to each woman's unique needs.

Women often juggle roles as leaders, caregivers, and mentors. The pressure to "do it all" can be overwhelming. But when we lean into our personal Support Languages, we permit ourselves to show up with honesty and heart. We don't have to provide perfect support; we need to give authentic support.
